Maximum age limit for unreserved men is 37 years

Unreserved female 40 years

For male and female of BC and MBC is 40 years

For SC/ST candidates of Male and female candidates upper age limit is 42 years

Minimum age limit is 21 years for all the posts.

Selection will be based on the academic qualifications and written test followed by personal interview.

 Written Exam Syllabus and Pattern for the Asst Teacher Recruitment of BSSC:

Written exam will be conducted for 600 marks.

Paper 1 for 400 marks and Paper 2 for 600 marks.

Paper 1 Exam Pattern:

Subject: Hindi

Exam will be in the form of Objective and descriptive type.

Total 100 questions and each question carries 4 marks and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

Exam duration is 2 hours 15 minutes.

Exam will be conducted in Hindi only.

Paper 2 Exam Pattern:

Subject: General Awareness

General Studies-50 Questions

General Knowledge-50 Questions

Mental Ability-50 Questions

Total 150 questions and each question carries 4 marks and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

Exam duration is 2 hours 15 minutes.

Examination will be conducted in Hindi and English languages.
